created to show the long term availability of a particular product
offered on our site. Please be aware that the icons represent long
term availability and are not indicative of current stock-on-hand
for any particular item. In other words, an item marked as (SI)
Stocked Item means the item is either produced in-house or that
an ongoing purchase order or contract exists with the manufacturer.
It does not however mean that it will never become temporarily out
of stock. We hope that this availability status system helps you
in the planning and use of the items we offer. |

Stocked
Item :
A
stocked Item(SI) is one which is either manufactured in-house,
it is made exclusively for us or is an item which we currently
have an open order or contract with the manufacturer for the
item. In either case a Stocked Item(SI) will usually be available
on an ongoing basis many of which have been available since
we opened in 1999. This does not mean that it will never be
out of stock. Although, we make every attempt to forecast
the demand for any given product accurately, unforeseen events
like manufacturer delays or raw material shortages will sometimes
cause gaps in availability. Stocked Items(SI) usually restock
within 15 days if they do become out of stock. |

Special
Purchase:
A
Special Purchase Item (SP) is one which was a one time purchase.
These one time purchases can be a combination of manufacturer
overruns, surplus or overstock. In any case a Special Purchase
Items (SP) will usually not restock once current inventory on-hand
is exhausted. We offer special Purchase items on our site because
we are able to purchase them at discounted prices and pass on
the saving to our customers. Our special purchase items usually
consist of 5k to 100k units, therefore a Special Purchase(SP)
item might be available for years to come and might even restock
if availability exists. A solid source or contract is not available
for a Special Purchase Item and might become out of stock if
one customer purchases our entire stock. Additionally the manufacturer
name of a particular item may be released to our customer and
at our discretion but only once our stock is depleted. Do keep
in mind that the manufacturer price will often be much higher
than our offering price due to our buying power and purchasing
circumstances. You can always call us to get stock on-hand quantities
for any item. |

Closeout
Item :
A
Closeout Item(CO) is an item where stock on hand is usually
under 1000 units and that will not restock once the current
stock is depleted. A Closeout Item(CO) could of once been a
stocked item, a Special Purchase Item, etc. In any case an item
is considered a Closeout Item once Stock falls below 1k units
and will not restock. Closeout Items are usually offered at
discounted prices. |

Seasonal
Item:
A
Seasonal Item (SE) is one which is available seasonally. For
example a holiday basket may only be available during the holidays.
Keep in mind that seasonal items do not always correspond with
holidays or seasons. A manufacturer might only produce an item
once per year like at the beginning of a year and not restart
production till next year. This happens because it cost manufacturers
money to retool a machine to get it ready for production. Items
marked as Seasonal Items(SE) will usually restock once the season
is back or once it becomes available from the manufacturer.
The point here is that the item will be available throughout
the year but sometimes with gaps in availability. Also, keep
in mind that manufacturer often times change the item as far
as color , size , etc |

Trial
Item:
A Trial Item(TR) is an item that is being offered on the site
on a trial basis. Many Trial Items(TR) are offered per the request
of our customers, some are small trial purchases directly form
the manufacturer. The purpose of the trial item is to test for
customer approval or interest on the particular item. If the
Trial Item(TR) receives good reviews and is a product that our
customers are purchasing consistently we will continue to stock
it and will usually become a Stocked Item. If the Trial Item
does poorly it will usually be moved to a closeout item. |
